This is a turn up for the books… the first painting competition I’ve taken part in for a long time! It’s a long time since I painted anything seriously for a competition, and here are the results:

Unfortunately, as it turned out, the competition in question was cancelled (I’m a bit late posting this up) but, not to worry, it’s good to be painting properly again, and I think I’m working towards my old standard again! He’ll just have to sit on the shelf until the next competition.

This past Sunday I helped run Gifts for Geeks’ first Hordes/Warmachine Tournament; Blood & Oil. Overall it was a great day and hopefully I’ll be able to help run future events like it too. Here’s some pics from the day and congrats to Chris and Spencer on 1st and 2nd place!

I’ve just picked up the lovely new Wolf Guard plastic set – very nice indeed! I’m also playing with my new phone so not quite able to get good images up yet, but here’s a couple of them anyway. The Grey Hunters I’ve been painting are coming along nicely too, I’ll have stage by stage pictures up as soon as I download them from my camera!
